October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is recognized to raise awareness of the importance of early detection and access to high-quality care for breast cancer.

Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women and is the most common breast cancer among women in the United States. Breast cancer death rates have declined 44% since 1989 among U.S. women. This progress is attributed to improvements in early detection and life-changing care.

This October, join GFWC in promoting awareness and learning more about breast cancer.
